Thank you so much for taking hours of your life to make me a gift. It's pretty amazing of you and I deeply appreciate it.
As a basic guideline, the more you focus on the women in the sources I've requested, the happier I'll be. What draws me to stories are women interacting with each other, so a vid focused on women interacting with each other will make me incredibly happy. I'm not fussy about music, so choose whatever makes your heart content.
Bitva za Sevastopol | Battle for Sevastopol (2015)
It's a movie about Lyudmila Pavlichenko, a sniper for the Soviet Union during World War II who killed 300+ Nazis. She also joined a Soviet propaganda tour of the US and becomes friends with Eleanor Roosevelt. Anything that focuses on Lyuda's journey and the trauma of war would be wonderful. I'd also like anything that focuses on her friendships with Masha and Eleanor.
Drop Dead Gorgeous (1999)
This quite possibly could be my favorite movie. I'd love anything that focuses on the absurdity and over-the-topness of the movie. Anything that adds the little bits of Lutheranism and growing up in the upper Midwest will be adored.
In the Loop (2009) & The Thick of It
I would really love a vid that focused on Nicola Murray, she who can never, ever win, no matter how hard she tries. I'd love anything the focuses on the physicality of the comedy on the show. As long as you include a decent amount of Nicola, you can focus on main themes of the show, too.
Madam Secretary
I want a vid that shows Elizabeth McCord being fucking amazing and/or a vid that focuses on her love of pastry and all other foods. I'd also love a vid that focuses on her relationship with her daughters or a vid that focuses on her relationship with her staff, especially Nadine and Blake.
NCAA Volleyball RPF
My favorite volleyball team is the University of Nebraska. I would love any vid about them, especially one that focused on last year's team that won the national championship. holyages, NCAA Game Sports Girl are great channels to find source for volleyball.
The Expanse
This show has kind of eaten my brain the past few months. Chrisjen Avasarala is one of my favorite characters ever, so any vid that focused on her would be wonderful. I'd also love any vid that focused on any or ALL of the major women characters -- Bobbie, Naomi, Drummer, Anna, Clarissa, Julie etc. I also ship Chrisjen x Bobbie and Naomi x Drummer and any vids about them would be completely appreciated.
The Incredible Dr Pol
It's a reality show about a group of vets in rural Michigan that work with both large and small animals. There's a lot of episodes but I'm only really familiar with the newer ones. Any vid that focuses on people and animals and their love for each other would be great -- but if you want to focus on something specific, I'd love a vid about Doctor Emily or a vid about Tater, the clinic's three-legged rescue black cat. Please no prolapsed cow uteruses though.
WNBA RPF
I love women's basketball. My favorite WNBA teams are the LA Sparks and the Dallas Wings -- so if you want to make a vid about either of those teams, I'd love it. If you'd like to focus on specific players, my favorites are Candace Parker, Liz Cambage, Skylar Diggins-Smith, Nneka Ogwumike, Chelsea Gray, Chiney Ogwumike, A'ja Wilson, Kayla McBride and Jonquel Jones. 2018 was an amazing season, so a year in review would also be great. WNBA players are great advocates for a variety of causes, so a vid looking at the WNBA activism would be appreciated.
