As a basic guideline, the more you focus on the women in the sources I've requested, the happier I'll be. What draws me to stories are women interacting with each other, so a vid focused on women interacting with each other will make me incredibly happy. I'm not fussy about music, so choose whatever makes your heart content.
Derry Girls
I would love a vid just about the Derry Girls and their adventures. This is a show that always makes me laugh and I love the sheer absurdity of the situations they find themselves in, while the show is true the dumbassness of teenagers. I also love how the show demonstrates that you can be the midst of momentous historical change and still be completely wrapped up in the mundane details of your own life, so a vid looking at that would be awesome. Also, if you want to make a vid focusing only on Sister Michael, I'd love that, too.
Ingobernable
The President of Mexico is assassinated and the First Lady is framed. She goes on the run, and a series of somewhat improbable events happen. The closest US analog to this show is probably Scandal. I would like a vid that focuses on the women of the show or any of the main women - Emilia, Ana, Chela, Zyan, María.
Kim's Convenience
I LOVE THIS FAMILY. They make me laugh and cry. I'd love a vid that looks at the relationships between the entire family. I'd love a vid about the store interacting with the city outside. I'd love a vid about Umma and Appa's relationship. I'd love a vid that was just Appa being Appa. I'd like a vid dealing with all of the secondary characters interacting with the Kim family. I'd like a vid dealing with the shenanigans at the car rental. This show is joy, so I will probably enjoy anything.
On the Basis of Sex (2018) [Safety]
Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Being herself. Fighting against sexism. Challenging legal sexism. Just her and her journey in this movie. If you want to add source from her actual life, that would be fine. I also like the contrast of generations in the film and the legalistic approach vs the more societal approach.
The Expanse
This is currently the show of my heart. I love every single woman on this show and I'd adore a vid about them. Chrisjen Avasarala is my favorite character, but a vid about Bobbie Draper, Naomi Nagata, Camina Drummer, Anna Volovodov, Julie Mao, Clarissa Mao, Elvi Okoye (depending how s4 goes for her), singly or in combination would be amazing. Chrisjen x Bobbie is the ship of my heart, but I also adore Naomi x Drummer. A December 13 release date might make it hard to get s4 clips in but I would love it if you could do it.
The Priory of the Orange Tree
While finding source that encompasses the global nature of this book would be hard, I'd love it. I'd also love anything that focused on the relationship between Ead and Sabran, or on Tané and dragons, or just on the Priory itself. I also am fascinated by theological wank so a vid that looked at the different belief systems would be great.
The Thick of It
NICOLA MURRAY. I'd really like a vid that focuses on Nicola Murray. I'd love anything the focuses on the physicality of the comedy on the show. As long as you include a decent amount of Nicola, you can focus on main themes of the show, too.
WNBA RPF
LADY ACESSSSSSS. I love the Las Vegas Aces. I love Liz Cambage, her physicality, her face, her emotion, her trash talking. I love A'ja Wilson and how awesome of a player she is and her ridiculous amount of Bill Laimbeer t-shirts. I love Kayla McBride aka McBuckets and her intensity and her sheer scoring ability. I love Kelsey Plum and her somehow finding her shot during the playoffs, including the one-leg challenge shot. I love Dearica Hamby and her hustle and rebounding and absolutely clock awareness stupid half court magical shot. I love saucy Syd and Ty Young's fashion and their awesomeness on the court. I love everyone I'm forgetting right now. I'd love a vid about them.
