Thank you so much for taking hours of your life to make me a gift. It's pretty amazing of you and I deeply appreciate it.
As a basic guideline, the more you focus on the women in the sources I've requested, the happier I'll be. What draws me to stories are women interacting with each other, so a vid focused on women interacting with each other will make me incredibly happy. I'm not fussy about music, so choose whatever makes your heart content.
Babylon 5
I am so happy this show is remastered and I rediscovered my love for it! I’d love a vid about Delenn, especially one that looks at how she’s probably the most powerful person on the station. Not only was she Grey Council but she also was able to command her people to provide her a fleet of ships and create a group of spy/soldiers answerable only to her (and her boyfriend/husband, although she still outranks him.) I’d also really love a vid about Susan Ivanova and for all her prickliness, she is probably one the most big-hearted people on the show. And, of course, she’s God. As for relationships, John/Delenn is probably my first OTP and it’s stood the test of time. I have a thing for people who should be enemies getting along and falling in love (see The Expanse). I’d also love a vid that explores Sheridan and Ivanova’s friendship. I’d also love a vid about Elizabeth Lochley and her dealing with all these crazy people who formed this bond that she’s trying work with. And vidder, I don’t know how you’d do it, but if you made me a Kosh vid, it would freaking make my day.
Borgen
Birgitte Nyborg, the Statsminister of my heart. Although for some reason Netflix has season four as a separate thing as “Borgen: Power and Glory”, feel free to use it along with the other three seasons. I’d love a vid that looks at the evolution of Birgitte and how power wears at her, compromises her, but never completely corrupts her. I’d also love a vid about Katrine and Hanne and their relationship. I’d also love a vid about Birgitte and Singe, who very much is Birgitte’s successor but someone Birgitte looks at with despair/contempt. I don’t know if it can be done, but there’s also probably a vid about Greenland and its drive to be independent from Denmark in there, too.

This movie is a gorgeously shot critique of Iranian class structure and society during the shah’s reign. It was banned by the shah and thought lost during the Islamic Revolution. However, found and restored. It’s the first movie Shohreh Aghdashloo performed in and:
So while the source is not easy to find, here’s a a link that would probably be helpful. A vid with this source would be amazing, but I would especially love anything that focuses on Shohreh Aghdashloo’s character.
Dream On: 30 for 30
After a third place finish in both the 1992 Olympics and the 1994 FIBA World Cup, USA Basketball panicked about its women’s team. The 1996 Olympics were going to take place in Atlanta and it wouldn’t do to for the women’s basketball team to come in third again. So, USA Basketball decided that it would assemble a team and have them play together for an entire year and this documentary looks at that year. There was straight-washing and white-washing! There was playing in Russia in winter in a gym with no heat and a door that wouldn’t shut! Tara Vandeveer told Rebecca Lobo she was only on the team to make the media happy! (Candace Parker lived tweeted her reaction to Geno!) The entire team hated Tara! They went undefeated and were pretty much the US’s introduction to post-colligate women’s basketball. There was joy and there was sorrow and there were secrets. There were the seeds of the WNBA even though most of the players actually signed on with its rival the ABL. A vid about this remarkable team would be amazing.
The Expanse
I’d really love a vid about any of the women on this show, but most especially about Chrisjen Avasarala. She makes an incredible journey from opening the show torturing a Belter to making an alliance with Belters. I love her clothing, her attitude, and how when she’s right, she’s right and when she’s wrong she is horrifically wrong. I also don’t know how’d you do it, but a vid that explored the similarities and differences between Avasarala and Drummer and their inevitable collision on Ceres would be amazing. Also, Chrisjen/Bobbie hits all my narrative ‘ship buttons (see Babylon 5) and a vid about them would be amazing. I’d also really love a vid about Clarissa Mao and her redemption arc and how she tries to find a balance between atonement and survival. A vid about Bobbie, Naomi, and/or Drummer and them trying to find their places in this universe with shifting loyalties and needing to look at the larger picture would be great.
Killjoys
GREEN QUEENS, please. I’d love a vid about Aneela and Delle Seyah and how two evil(ish) queens fall in love and fight for each other. I’d also like a vid that focused just on Delle Seyah Kendry because she is amazing. I’d love a vid about Dutch - anything from her deep emotional scars to her kicking ass or combination of the same. I’d love a vid about Zeph and about Zeph and Dutch’s friendship.

2022 WNBA CHAMPIONS!!! I love this team. I love how much they love each other. I love how absolutely goofy they are! I love how the local TV had to cut away from their speeches at the victory parade because they were violating FCC regulations by dropping f-bombs during prime time! They were the team with the MVP (A’ja Wilson), Defensive Player of the Year (A’ja Wilson), Coach of the Year (Becky Hammon), Most Improved Player (Jackie Young), All-Star MVP (Kelsey Plum), Commissioner’s Cup MVP (Chelsea Gray) and Finals MVP (Chelsea Gray).
A’ja Wilson not only is probably the best player on the planet but she’s also HILARIOUS. Her Finals press conference alone is gold. (FOUR SHOTS DEEP.) Her IG and TikTok are so much fun. Chelsea Gray is the Point Gawd. She makes crazy behind the back assists and shot a historic playoffs percentage. In fact, she shot better when she was guarded and fading away than she did when she was wide open. Kelsey Plum is basically a chihuahua. She doesn’t realize how small she is and she likes to bark at people (Tom Brady, the governor of Nevada). She also received the smallest trophy ever for being All-Star MVP and the entire team had fun with that. Jackie Young played incredible defense and improved so from her last few years. She was the donut factory and when they won, she actually smiled, which is kinda unprecedented. Dearica Hamby is a rebounding, turn over legend who had a seemingly off year but it turned out she was pregnant through most of the season. She’d be puking before games and then go out and play. Kiah Stokes aka 100K Kiah (ok, only I call her that) played excellent defense and rebounded so well. She, along with Sydney Colson and Theresa Plaisance made up THA HERD which tormented/entertained the rest of the team. Riquna Williams HIT THREE SHOTS DOWN THE STRETCH TO WIN THE FINALS. She was clutch both in the semis and the finals and in the regular season when needed. Theresa Plaisance and Sydney Colson were the needed comedy relief for the team. And the rookies, Kierstan Bell, Aisha Shepperd and Iliana Rupert, even though they didn’t see a lot of playing time, brought some amazing bench energy. (Iliana won the EuroCup, the French League and the WNBA in one year.) Becky Hammon was passed over by NBA team after NBA team to be a head coach and came to the WNBA and won the championship her first year. She drew up two ATOs to win Game 3 against Seattle so beautiful you could cry.
Women Hooping is a great source for gameplay. The Aces social media is amazing. I don’t know how much of Syd’s IG lives live on, but those where something too.
Ted Lasso
I love this team! I’d love a vid that gives you all the team feelings. I’d also really like a vid about Rebecca and her journey. I’d also love a vid about Keeley and her evolution throughout the series. If you could do it, a vid about Doctor Sharon would be amazing, too. I’d love a vid about Rebecca and Ted’s relationship or Rebecca and Keeley's relationship (however you interpret it). I’d love a vid about how Ted affects everyone around him and how they affect him.

A great film about a girl in Riyadh and her quest to buy herself a bicycle. When her other plans fail, she enters a Quran recital competition. It’s a great look at how hard it can be to defy society’s expectations of you, but it also captures the freedom a bike gives you as a kid. I also really love the relationship between Wadjda and her mother.
