Thank you so much for taking hours of your life to make me a gift. It's pretty amazing of you and I deeply appreciate it.
As a basic guideline, the more you focus on the women in the sources I've requested, the happier I'll be. What draws me to stories are women interacting with each other, so a vid focused on women interacting with each other will make me incredibly happy. I'm not fussy about music, so choose whatever makes your heart content.
A'ja Wilson RPF
A'ja Wilson probably had one of the most dominant seasons in basketball history. She lead the WNBA in points and rebounds and was the first player to score 1,000 points in one season. She won MVP of both the WNBA and the Olympic games. But as good as she is at basketball, she's a great person. She's given so many heartfelt speeches this season as her team was struggling. She's used her platform to write Dear Black Girls and runs the A'ja Wilson Foundation which helps children with dyslexia, which she has. She also gave a live interview where she told a national audience that Kahleah Copper is "dat bitch" (affectionate). She's just a delight and any vid about her would be amazing.
Abbott Elementary
I love everyone in this school. I'd love an ensemble vid that dealt with everyone. I'd love a vid looking at any of the characters individually. I'd love a vid looking at Janine and Gregory. I'd love a vid looking at Janine and Barbara. I'd love a vid with all the women teachers. I'd love a vid looking at Janine and Gregory and Jacob. I'd love a vid looking at Barbara and Melissa. A Janine vid and her journey and her relationships with the teachers. A Mr. Johnson vid! Basically, if you did something with this, I'd love it.
Babylon 5
I’d love a vid about Delenn, especially one that looks at how she’s probably the most powerful person on the station. Not only was she Grey Council but she also was able to command her people to provide her a fleet of ships and create a group of spy/soldiers answerable only to her (and her boyfriend/husband, although she still outranks him.) I’d also really love a vid about Susan Ivanova and for all her prickliness, she is probably one the most big-hearted people on the show. And, of course, she’s God. As for relationships, John/Delenn is probably my first OTP and it’s stood the test of time. I have a thing for people who should be enemies getting along and falling in love (see For All Mankind). I’d also love a vid that explores Sheridan and Ivanova’s friendship. I’d also love a vid about Elizabeth Lochley and her dealing with all these crazy people who formed this bond that she’s trying work with. And vidder, I don’t know how you’d do it, but if you made me a Kosh vid, it would freaking make my day.
Borgen
Birgitte Nyborg, the Statsminister of my heart. Although for some reason Netflix has season four as a separate thing as “Borgen: Power and Glory”, feel free to use it along with the other three seasons. I’d love a vid that looks at the evolution of Birgitte and how power wears at her, compromises her, but never completely corrupts her. I’d also love a vid about Katrine and Hanne and their relationship. I’d also love a vid about Birgitte and Singe, who very much is Birgitte’s successor but someone Birgitte looks at with despair/contempt. I don’t know if it can be done, but there’s also probably a vid about Greenland and its drive to be independent from Denmark in there, too.

This movie is a gorgeously shot critique of Iranian class structure and society during the shah’s reign. It was banned by the shah and thought lost during the Islamic Revolution. However, found and restored. It’s the first movie Shohreh Aghdashloo performed in and:
So while the source is not easy to find, here’s a a link that would probably be helpful. A vid with this source would be amazing, but I would especially love anything that focuses on Shohreh Aghdashloo’s character.
Derry Girls
I would love a vid just about the Derry Girls and their adventures. This is a show that always makes me laugh and I love the sheer absurdity of the situations they find themselves in, while the show is true the dumbassness of teenagers. I also love how the show demonstrates that you can be the midst of momentous historical change and still be completely wrapped up in the mundane details of your own life, so a vid looking at that would be awesome. Also, if you want to make a vid focusing only on Sister Michael, I'd love that, too.
For All Mankind
Margo Madison is the character of my heart at this moment. I love that they made this character and made her bold and smart but also learned to play the game to climb the ladder. I love that her first love will always be space exploration. I love that her mentor drilled into her that NASA is not a place for feelings but that she loves so deeply and disastrously and with her whole heart but for less than a handful of people. I love her relationship with Aleida through all its ups and downs. I love how much she and Sergei love each other, even if they were doomed from the start. I have hope for her overall arc, because right now it feels like she vowed to never to be like her Nazi mentor and the world has never stopped punishing her for it. I think history will vindicate her. Anyway, Margo vid. I WILL LOVE IT.
I LOVE ALL THE WOMEN ON THIS SHOW.I LOVE MOLLY COBB and her swagger and being the most self-sacrificing selfish asshole ever. DANIELLE POOLE who moved from being a meme for what you shouldn’t do in space (because she was covering some white dude’s ass) to the FIRST WOMAN ON MARS. ELLEN WILSON and all her contradictions! KAREN BALDWIN and her GROWTH. ALEIDA ROSALES, her family, her relationship with Margo, all her rough edges. KELLY BALDWIN and her search for her own identity all while searching for life in space. IRINA MOROZOVA and her manipulation and power and complete misreading of Margo. I’d also love vids looking at the big themes of the show - space exploration (it’s SUCH a pretty show), Cold War politics, the alternate history and I don’t know how you’d do it, but if you could do a Soviet rebuttal, like Mikhail Vasiliev’s big American hero speech, that would be amazing.
Stick It (2016) [SAFETY]
I love this movie with my whole heart. Lean into the absurdity and the fun of it. Have fun with it. Enjoy the fantasy that you can overcome the abusive environment that reigns in so many elite sports and have fun, kick ass and make friends along the way.
